1001 1 MYC HANDICAPS for the 3 MYC HANDICAP RACES
1002 2 Ever wonder what your MYC handicap was?  Well here it is!
1003 3 F is the 4th of July, V is Victory Day and L is Labor Day.  The earned handicap for each race is calculated
1004 4 by dividing your boat's time by the time of the first E Scow in that race.
1005 5 The handicap to be used in your next race (last column on the right) is the average of the handicaps earned
1006 6 in the last 3 to 5 races.  The last races are identified with a letter and the year.  M is Memorial Day,
1007 7 Thus, if you finish in 1 hour and have a handicap of 2.000, your corrected time is 30 minutes.   On the other hand,
1008 8 if you finish in 1 hour and have a handicap of 0.500, your corrected time is 2 hours.
1009 9 The corrected time for your next race will be calculated by dividing your actual finishing time by your handicap.
